In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Greetster and its operator. "You" means the community owner who holds a Greetster account. Your community's paying members are "members", and they are your customers, not ours.
Greetster connects your Stripe account and your Discord server, then automates the member lifecycle: sending invites, matching a payment to a Discord account, granting access, chasing failed payments, and removing access when payment stops.
We act on your instructions. You choose the grace period, the role, the invite channel, and the welcome message. You remain responsible for your Discord server and for your relationship with your members.
You need a Discord account to sign in. You are responsible for keeping it secure, including its two-factor settings. Anyone who controls your Discord account controls your Greetster account.
You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and you must own or have permission to administer the Discord server you connect.
There is one plan. Everyone gets every feature, with no member caps and no take rate on your revenue.
One subscription runs one Discord server. All prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax that may apply where you live.
Price changes: we may change these prices. We will email the address on your account at least 30 days before a new price applies to you. A change never affects a term you have already paid for: a card subscription keeps its price until the next renewal after that notice, and a crypto prepayment is locked at the price you paid until it runs out. If you do not want the new price, cancel before it takes effect.
You can cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancelling stops future charges and your access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not pro-rate partial months.
Crypto prepayments are final and non-refundable, because the funds settle on-chain directly to our wallet and cannot be reversed. Choose a shorter term if you are unsure.
If a payment to us fails, we may suspend the service until it is resolved. We keep your data for 30 days after an account ends, then delete it.
Members pay you on your own Stripe account. Their funds land with you directly and never pass through Greetster. We hold no balance for you, we issue no payouts, and we take no percentage.
The same applies to crypto: member funds move from the member to the wallet you control. We only read public blockchain data to confirm a payment happened. We never take custody of anyone's funds.
Because we never hold funds, refunds, chargebacks, disputes and tax on your member revenue are entirely yours to handle.
When a member cancels, is refunded, or lets a grace period expire, Greetster removes them from your server. That is the product working as designed and you are agreeing to it here. We cancel the underlying subscription before removing anyone, so nobody keeps getting billed for a room they are no longer in.
Before a removal we re-check the live payment status. If we cannot verify a payment, we take no destructive action.
You may not use Greetster to run a community that sells illegal goods or services, distributes stolen or infringing material, targets children, or breaches Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines, or Stripe's Restricted Businesses list.
You may not attempt to access another customer's data, probe our systems for weaknesses without written permission, or resell the service as your own.
We may suspend or end an account that breaks this section, without refund.
Greetster depends on Discord, Stripe, and our hosting and email providers. Their outages, policy changes, or account decisions can interrupt the service, and those are outside our control. If Discord or Stripe closes your account, we cannot restore it.
We work hard to keep the service running but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost members, or indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will email the address on your account before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Quebec have exclusive jurisdiction.
